Namaste! Thank you for visiting my website. I adore the practices of yoga, meditation and gratitude. The profound changes it has had on my life since I began my practice in 2005 is incredible. My intention is to help pass this amazing effect onto anyone who desires to find growth through yoga.
Yoga has changed my life in so many ways! This is why I became a yoga instructor. To help guide other humans on the journey of self-discovery so that they too can experience the transformative power of yoga. My recent experience in India was life-defining and has deeply shaped my teaching. My classes have become a blend of the best of Eastern and Western styles of yoga. I emphasize alignment and fundamentals of each Asana (pose). Classes will focus on the importance of the Sun Salutaions, as well as incorporate meditation and Pranayama (breathing exercises) into every class.
I am RYT 500 hour certified through Yoga Alliance. I was blessed to be able to study in Mysore, India under Vinod Kumar Rajan, completing my 300 hour AYT training at Ayru Yoga Eco-Ashram. I earned my inital 200 hour certification in 2014 from Nirvana School of Classical Yoga in Atlanta, Georgia. Studying under Leigh Anne Neal has provided me with a strong foundation in teaching Hatha Yoga. Registered with the Yoga Alliance, I have also earned my pre and post-natal certification from the Asheville Yoga Center.
I transitioned from being a Pilates devotee a decade ago to practicing Yoga almost exclusively because it gave a more balanced approach to the health of my mind, body and spirit. I know every human mind and every body can benefit from a Yoga practice. It is my dearest passion to bring light and wellness to those around me. In addition to teaching yoga, I’m an artist, cyclist and a lover of travel! Be happy so long as breath is in you. Namaste!
